When you come for your appointment please remember to obtain and bring the following:
- Drivers License or a valid ID
- Insurance information
- Referral Letter (if required)
- Reports, X-rays, MRI's, CT scans etc and any other relevant information
- List of medications (if any)
Very often during the course of your evaluation or treatment for an orthopaedic condition we will require X-rays to determine the cause of a problem or to evaluate your progress. If not all the relevant information is available at the time of your appointment this may cause a delay in your treatment.
Appointments for X-ray are not necessary:
These are continually staffed whenever any doctor is consulting, which covers most of the week.
Patients may be referred for X-rays from outside. X-rays can therefore be arranged prior to consultations.
Please dress so that the body part you are having trouble with can be easily examined and/or X-rayed. For example, please wear shorts if you are attending for a knee problem.
If you need to cancel an appointment:
Telephone the office during business hours and allow at least 1 day's notice so that we can offer your appointment time to patients on our waiting list.
We recognize that your time is valuable, and we make every effort to run on time. Occasionally emergencies or patients require a little more time, and these cause scheduling delays beyond our control. We apologize if we keep you waiting.
